Lawsons Rock via Indian Rockhouse Professional Review and Guide
"This hike features two major highlights amidst everywhere-you-look scenery. First, make a narrow passage between two giant boulders to emerge at the Indian Rockhouse, a large and airy overhang. Head easterly below the rim of the Tennessee River Gorge, where you will see a plethora of sheer bluffs, rock ramparts, and stone palisades. Turn into the Suck Creek Gorge, with its own geological features, such as spirelike pedestal rocks. Detour away from the rim into Sulphur Creek. Reach the outcrop of Lawsons Rock, where a panorama spreads down the Suck Creek Gorge to the Tennessee River and beyond to Elder Mountain."
