The Downstream and Upstream Trails at Rock Island State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"The Upstream and the Downstream Trails at Rock Island State Park give some great views of the scenic Twin Falls and access to the Caney Fork River.

Most of the time, you can see the kayakers play around in the rapids below the Twin Falls. Because of the multiuse aspect of this trail, expect to see a variety of users, including kayakers, fishermen, and families just out for a saunter. And in season, some of the fern displays along the trail are great. The Upstream Trail also has some nice bluffs."
