Thunder Rock is the name of the campground just below Ocoee Powerhouse #3. It shudders like thunder when they crank up those generators. Like the water in that big green pipe, you’ll thunder down the mountain too, as you plummet off the ridge en route to the river below. It’s an awesome ride. Highlights: Spotty views, fast descent, tight single track, long climb.

Super flowing and rolling mostly downhill. Pump your way along for speed and pedal if you like going uncomfortably fast. Ride as out and back or loop with other trails; Bearpaw or Chestnut Mnt. Loop. You can spend the whole day on this trail system. FYI - $3.00 parking fee at Ocoee Whitewater Center but it puts you right in the heart of these trails w/ signage everywhere.
