The Rock Creek Loop follows a railroad grade for much of its length, making a squeeze through a cliff-line break that will leave you wondering how a steam engine once passed through. But your eyes will also focus on the beauty of the Massey Branch watershed. After reaching Rock Creek, the route continues along the rail bed before climbing out of the watery reaches of the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area to return to your point of origin near the Hattie Blevins Cemetery. Outstanding Features: Railroad bed, and waterfall
