Gentleman’s Swimming Hole and Meeting of the Waters Trails at Rugby

Gentleman’s Swimming Hole and Meeting of the Waters Trails at Rugby Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This hike actually combines a couple of short hikes. The first hike takes you down to the Gentleman’s Swimming Hole, which was the place where English colonists from the settlement of Rugby would go to cool off.

After visiting this old swimming hole, you can follow the Meeting of the Waters Trail downstream along the Clear Fork to its junction with White Oak Creek. This trail follows the riverbank, weaving between huge boulders and alongside tall bluffs en route down to the junction of the two rivers. Some of this trail was most likely built by the English colonists in the 1880s."
