This hike is for tree lovers, pond enthusiasts, and those wanting a bit of solitude. Overlooks and paths to the Little Harpeth River and nature ponds provide a bit of adventure for young children. The paved flat trail is easily navigated with those who use wheelchairs or have mobility problems. There is a kiosk with a large map board at the trailhead. The area has many trees, two ponds, and the Little Harpeth River, making it ideal habitat for birds and small mammals. From the trailhead follow a very short connector trail to a T and take the right branch.
