The longest hiking trail in the park, this hike is well worth the exploration because of the large number of rare species of plants likely to be encountered along the trail, although most of the endemic species of flowers can be seen only from March through June. This loop trail, marked with white blazes, can be followed in either direction and passes over mostly level ground. It makes a broad loop into state forest land and returns back to the trailhead. The rare glade anemone and a summer-flowering glade orchid are both found in the cedar glades.
