Clinch River Professional Review and Guide
"The oldest of Tennessee’s TVA tailwaters is arguably its best. As a result, the Clinch River has come into its own. Just ask Greg Ensor about his 28-pound-plus state record brown, pulled from the Clinch near the weir two miles below the dam. The river regularly yields browns in the 8-to 15-pound range and rainbows of five pounds or more. While there are big fish here, the river is still heavily stocked and rainbows and browns of 10- to 12-inches are the most frequently caught. Species: Brown, rainbow. Angling methods: spin, and fly-fishing."
