Warriors Path Trail Professional Review and Guide
"You’ll find fun and surprisingly technical riding in Warriors’ Path State Park’s mountain bike trail system. There are no long climbs, but you’ll twist, turn, and find yourself negotiating miniature boulder gardens, hopping logs, and dropping over ledges. Enjoy the views of the river and watch for deer! Highlights: Short climbs, rocky and technical in places, tight turns, wildlife."
--Jim Parham, Off The Beaten Track Volume IV: A Guide to Mountain Biking in East Tennessee (Milestone Press).
This is, without a doubt, the best maintained and one of the best designed trails, I have ever been on. We started out of the parking lot up Darwins Revenge - Boneyard - Rock City - Whitetail Loop - Zipline, about 8 miles of pure poetry. Rock City is a little challenging, I recommend doing it in both directions if you can. The rest of the trails have just enough features to keep your interest high. Scenery is great, trails are tight with no evidence of horses or motorized traffic. If you get there in the middle of the week you might have the whole place to yourself.
