Sill Branch Falls Loop Professional Review and Guide
"This vigorous loop in the Clark Creek watershed ascends Longarm Branch, passing smaller cataracts before coming to Longarm Branch Cascades, a long sliding waterfall. Next, rise to Bearwallow Gap on Rich Mountain; then cruise the ridgeline on old forest roads, with views of East Tennessee. Make the South Sill Branch Trail, dropping sharply. A short spur visits Sill Branch Falls, where North Sill Branch dives from a stone cliff. From there it is a short distance to the trailhead. Note: If you want to visit Sill Branch Falls the easy way, just hike the loop in reverse from Clark Creek Road—it is a mere 1-mile round-trip and suitable for families."
