Lower Higgins Creek Falls and Hidden Lake Professional Review and Guide
"This trek on the Rocky Fork tract can be divided into two hikes: an easy walk to a dramatic waterfall, and an additional steep walk up a cascade-fi lled drainage on a lesser-maintained trail, passing a rusted jalopy from logging days of long ago. You emerge from the streamshed onto aptly named Hidden Lake, a trouty tarn beneath Frozen Knob. Th e hike to Hidden Lake gains a hefty 1,700 feet, so if that seems ambitious, simply make the 1.8-mile out-and-back to Lower Higgins Creek Falls."
