Sutton Ridge Overlook Professional Review and Guide
"This is a moderate hike to a great view. It’s a wonder it’s not hiked more. The walk starts near Cosby Campground and passes through pioneer lands that have long since been reforested. Cross a brook-trout stream while looking for signs of settlement, then climb a bit to Sutton Ridge. Take the side trail to a great view of the surrounding area. This hike is ideal for families that want to get off the beaten path, or for anyone who just wants a rewarding leg stretcher."

We did this trail a few years ago. It was a great walk in the woods, not difficult at all. Not one of my favorites because I love views, creeks, and falls. We passed what we thought were places where people had lived/a rocked area for a spring. When we reached the overlook, it was very overgrown and we were not able to see anything. However, it was a nice little in and out hike.
