This is a short .25 mile trail in Harrison Bay State Park, but you have to walk .3 along the Lakeshore Trail in order to get to it. It's a really pretty hike. The trail is in good shape, but it is pretty rocky and uneven. It is mostly flat, though there is one area with a pretty good grade along the trail. The scenery is beautiful, as is the case throughout all parts of this state park. There is parking available at the trailhead. The trail is dog-friendly, though leashes are required. My dog loved splashing along in the shallow water (it's close enough to the trail with a 6-foot leash) and mud (it rained for several days before I went). This is definitely a pleasant hike; I'll probably do it any time I visit this park, which I do pretty often. As a side note, there is a restaurant in the park (Dockside Cafe) that's really good. The park also has a nice campground, as well as a swimming pool and tennis courts.
