Lower Higgins Creek Falls Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"What a rewarding waterfall for a relatively short hike at the Rocky Fork tract, now part of the Cherokee National Forest. From the trailhead, you make a steady but moderate grade up to the 60-foot classic Appalachian waterfall, tumbling in stages, taking multiple forms as it widens to its base.
This waterfall is located within the Rocky Fork tract, a 10,000-acre parcel that is now owned and managed by the Cherokee National Forest, with a segment being a Tennessee state park. This hike climbs 600 feet in just under a mile."
