Jones Falls

Jones Falls Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Take the world’s most famous footpath through the hills of Carter County to view this cataract. From the trailhead you will head north on the Appalachian Trail, crossing the upper reaches of Jones Branch.

From there, wander easterly in rich woods before descending and taking a spur trail to 100-foot Jones Falls, which pours over a slide then drops in a splash and resumes its sliding."
