Gabes Mountain Trail

Gabes Mountain Trail is a hiking trail in Cocke County, Tennessee. It is within Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It is 6.7 miles long and begins at 2,297 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 0.5 miles with a total elevation gain of 105 feet. The Cosby Campground camp site;caravan site and the Cosby Picnic Pavillion shelter are near the trailhead. There are also restrooms. The Sallie Sutton Cemetery (elevation 2,740 feet) cemetery, the Gabes Mountain ridge, the 34 (elevation 3,061 feet) camp site, and the Bearneck Gap saddle can be seen along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Maddron Bald Trail and Old Settlers Trail.
