Huskey Branch Cascades Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This Great Smoky Mountains National Park cataract is the climax of an adventure up the über-scenic Little River valley, replete with dancing rapids, deep and clear pools, tree-covered islands, and wide boulders. Then you reach Huskey Branch as it crashes downward above the trail, then under and below to one of the deepest pools in the Smokies.
This waterfall and the stream from which it emanates are named after Smoky Mountain settlers. Even today, you can’t throw a rock in Sevier County without hitting a member of the Huskey family. The Little River Trail makes a wide path up the valley, allowing you to focus on the surroundings rather than watching your every footfall."
