Chilhowee Professional Review and Guide

"If you're just getting started in the sport, this route is a great introduction to single track riding. If you've been biking awhile, you'll love its simplicity. The trail takes you out to Benton Falls and the head of the Rock Creek Scenic Gorge along the top of Chilhowee Mountain. Highlights: Designated bike trail, roots, lake, waterfall, campground."

Its got sweet and fast downhill with moderate jumps. The climbs can be moderate depending on which particular trail you choose. Great view of mountains around you and you can even stop to see Benton Falls.

The trails at Chilhowee are closed to the public until further notice. The Forest Service has determined the Pine Beetle damage to the trees makes it dangerous to be underneath them. The Pine Beetle has ravaged hundreds of acres in the Ocoee/Chilhowee area.
