This is a steep trail climbing from the parking lot 250' to the table land above. It gives you good views from above (the notch trail gives you a better view and for less effort). My daughter and I traversed this trail in about 45 minutes. Going up was difficult in a few spots due to loose gravel but overall moderately strenuous. We hiked around above for a little bit before coming back down. Coming down was extremely difficult due to the loose gravel and steepness of the trail. Wear good shoes with tread on the soles! Some of the stone formations were neat to look at but, at the end, this trail disappointed me somewhat. I can say, 'I did it' but not a lot of lasting images in my mind other than the image of my daughter sliding on her backside half way down to avoid careening over an edge and into the canyon below. Nice trail but that's as far as it goes.
