Very nice trail. This is a quick pull off spot with an easy to follow trail. Stairs involved but not a hard walk and a very neat path through some shade giving junipers. This loop provides nice views of both the prairie and some badland peaks. Benches are placed in shaded areas and are great spots to stop for bird watching.

If you are planning just to drive through the Badlands, at very least this is the one pull-off you should make and follow the trail up and back down for some spectacular sights and breathtaking views, especially at "magic hour." Just do it!
