Living History Farm Trail—Kings Mountain State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"What a delightful hike. This marvelous trail leads you along a quaint creek, past a splendid spillway, and then ends at a charming replica of a 19th-century farm. The hike is generally easy, with a few quick climbs, and when you reach the farm you can’t help but be impressed.

There are live chickens, peach trees growing, gardens, a barn, and even a cotton gin. Please make sure you keep the dogs on a leash at all times. We wouldn’t want them banned for disturbing the denizens of this lovely living history farm."
