Enoree River

Enoree River Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This paddle takes place within the confines of the Sumter National Forest, which lends it a wild aspect. Even though private inholdings in the national forest reach to the river’s edge, the banks are primitive throughout, and you will not see a dwelling the entire trip, making for a continuous encounter with nature.

The paddle beginning off FR 339 has a ramp. Despite being less than 2 miles from Whitmire, the Enoree River immediately delivers a wild aura. Heavily wooded banks stretch out below as well as rising to hilly bluffs. Fallen trees crowd the waterway and create obstacles around which to paddle."
