Poinsett State Park

Poinsett State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"Rolling hill topography greets you as you travel through Poinsett State Park, and the means of travel is entirely up to you. The park has trails for hiking and mountain biking, and the property butts up to the Manchester State Forest, where you can extend your hike or bike.

The neighboring state forest also has miles of bridle and off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails open to the public. The weather in South Carolina can range from hot, hot, hot on the coast in the summer to snow on the mountains in the winter. Do your homework before you go, and remember to dress in layers."
