Wadboo Creek

Wadboo Creek Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"A trip on Wadboo Creek explores very different waters all from one landing. Moreover, as an added bonus, no shuttle is required! From the large and sometimes busy Dennis C. Rembert Landing, you will first paddle up Wadboo Creek, passing an ecologically significant limestone bluff that harbors plant life rare in the Lowcountry.

The stream narrows, and you enter Wadboo Swamp, a place where cypress and tupelo trees dominate the swampy shoreline. The stream narrows and splits, becoming barely wide enough for a boat. After a mile or so, you turn around and enjoy the push of the current back downstream to the landing."
