Steven’s Creek, preferred by many local riders for its technical challenges, is tougher than both Horn Creek and Turkey Creek trails. This out and back offers steeper hills, tight switchbacks, numerous tributary crossings, and abrupt drop-offs to the creek. In places it’s smooth sailing on fast singletrack, but then your speed is interrupted by difficult moves at a dozen ravines. Begin following Steven’s Creek upstream through an open forest of upland hardwoods, then border the floodplain and pedal through bottomland. Tread: Singletrack.
