Baker Creek State Park Professional Review and Guide
"Pines, oaks, hickories, and sweetgum trees shade the campsites here; dogwoods and cedars compose the understory. Higher on the hill, the inner loop has sites 1 through 24, which afford a commanding view of the lake below. The lower loop, with sites24 through 50, offers lakefront camping, where you
can pull your boat up or swim at the campsite.
The red-clay camping pads are a little on the small side, and vegetation between sites is limited. But privacy isn’t much of an issue here, as you are unlikely to have a neighbor, and if you do there is a site far enough away for you to obtain the privacy you want."
