Honey Hill Campground Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Crisp, clean, well-spaced, and well-groomed campsites greet you at this small, but wooded, campground. With a fire tower at its doorstep, Honey Hill is easily the nicest camping facility in the Francis Marion National Forest. Its location just minutes from the Wambaw Cycle Trail, the Jericho Horse Trail, and the Swamp Fox Trail makes it ideal to explore the forest by just about any means of travel.
If you like the water, the Santee River is within easy reach. Or, if you prefer ocean access, head down to the coast to McClellanville or to the Buck Hall Recreation Area. Both have boat ramps that are open to the public and give you easy access to the Intracoastal Waterway or the Atlantic Ocean."
