Mill Creek County Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"Rolling grassy fields greet you as you pass through the park and head toward the campground. But once you arrive, the flat, wide-open spread is more like a parking lot and does not offer much in the way of privacy, or shade for that matter. Popular with the local equine community, some of the sites have posts to tether your horse to, and Mill Creek Park is surrounded by miles and miles of bridle trails, which are also open to hikers.
The campground also has stables to house your horse, and the stalls certainly get a lot more shade than the campsites do. The park hosts two big events annually in March and October, so you may want to check for availability before you visit during those months. A small pond graces the property with a fishing pier and a place to launch a canoe or kayak."
