This hike starts and ends at the historic Kings Mountain Battlefield. The path begins by climbing several small hills that surround the battlefield before reaching a valley and contouring a small creekbed. Leaving the valley, there is a gradual climb to the ridgeline that leads to the summit of Browns Mountain. After taking in the views and the historical magnitude of the surrounding landscape, you’ll backtrack to the Kings Mountain Battlefield.
