The Marshland Nature Trail travels around an old rice field and accesses the Marshland boardwalk. You must walk your bike on the boardwalk, but it is worth the stroll to see Washo Reserve, a freshwater cypress lake that provides substantial breeding habitat for osprey. Consider adding this loop to the Bike/Hike Trail. It passes the gate that leads out to the dike system at mile 1.3. Tread: Old roadbed.
