The Springfield Trail is one of two hikes featured in the Anne Springs Close Greenway, located near Rock Hill, South Carolina (see also the Lake Haigler Trail), and the highlight is a suspension bridge over Steele Creek in the southern portion of the loop. You may notice a few mountain bikers on the trail (who also share this route), so keep the dog leashed to avoid any unwelcome collisions. The trail is wide enough to accommodate both parties, so sharing the route shouldn’t be an issue.
