This trail was a real disappointment. As it turns out, the drive approaching Estill from Charleston is more entrancing than the drive from Estill to Hilton Head. What charm might have existed years ago is certainly not there now. The "nature preserve" off of Sand Hills road is a series of unmarked trails with no way of knowing where you're going. I wasted an hour and a half trekking around and basically saw nothing.
