Lynches River County Park

Lynches River County Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This Florence County Park is quite interesting and quite popular with the locals. A ball field and the “Splash Pad” mini water park are definitely the highlights, as is the newly added archery range and, of course, the river itself. Lynches River runs right by the park, and a lovely canoe launch is open to the public, as are canoe and kayak rentals.

The park’s canoe landing sits nearly dead in the middle of the 111-mile Lynches River Scenic River Trail. So if you’re a paddler, this is a fantastic place to explore. If you’d rather stay on dry land, a boardwalk leads you out along the water’s edge, and a couple of hiking trails also allow you to peruse the park; mountain bikes are welcome on these trails as well. There’s an Environmental Discovery Center (EDC) that offers all sorts of activities and programs throughout the year."
