Midway Seasonal Camp Professional Review and Guide
"Unless you’re a die-hard hunter, skip this one. The campground at Midway is an open field, with posts marking your site, and that’s about it. The sites are barely discernible from one another, and there’s not a single amenity on them. No picnic tables, no lantern holders, and barely a primitive rock fire ring on the whole premises.
The forest surrounding this seasonal camp is abundant with wildlife, and therefore this is primarily designed as a base camp for hunters. The upside for those of us that are not hunters is that there are trails nearby for just about every form of travel. Whether you hike, mountain bike, ride upon horseback, or prefer off-highway vehicle (OHV), you can find a trail to suit your needs within easy reach. Or, if you’re looking for some civilization, head over to the town of Greenwood and visit the “Emerald Triangle.”"
