Fell Hunt and Horse Camp Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"The campsites at this 15-acre hunt and horse camp have the bare minimum on them, and with the old Cedar Springs Church and graveyard up the road, this area has an eerie feel about it. Stone fire rings are all that adorns the first thirty-four campsites. But at least these sites sit in a wooded area, and therefore provide plenty of shade.
An open field makes up the remaining sixteen sites that comprise the horse camp portion of this primitive campground. These sites sit right next to one another and are lacking the simple stone fire rings that the hunt camp has. They do, however, have horse tie offs, and plenty of room for you to park your horse trailer. The Long Cane Horse Trailhead is on the property, so the benefit of this location is that it literally offers ride-in/ride-out camping."
