Chrome Ridge Road Professional Review and Guide

"This is a demanding 20.5 mile ride. Pleasant views from the ridge and an exciting descent highlight the gravel road riding on this outing. The circuit ends on a fun note-four miles on single-track Taylor Creek Trail.

The path follows a shady route through a forest of madrone, live oak, and conifers. The trail surface is in pretty good shape with some technical challenges like rocks and sandy sections. Starts with a difficult 5-mile gravel road climb to Chrome Ridge. Trip begins near Sam Brown Campground, approximately 30 miles west of Grants Pass."
