Coventry Middle School Walk/Run Trail Professional Review and Guide
"A partly paved ride on a piece of the East Coast Greenway. In 1991, a group of bikers, walkers, and runners formed the East Coast Greenway Alliance with the goal of one day creating a 2,600-mile traffic-free path linking cities up and down the East Coast, from Florida to Maine. This all-volunteer coalition believed that such a pathway would increase motor-free transportation options, encourage ecotourism and outdoor recreation, reduce roadway congestion, improve air quality, and enhance the mental and physical health of all those people who use it—impressive ideas for something that’s just a few feet wide."

Great trail - Bring your Cameras... Lots of scenic views and SOON TO BE paved al the way.
The main problem is that it wasn't what I had expected. It turned out to be a very wide patch of asphalt running in long straight stretches with lots of hot sunshine beaming down. It wasn't very interesting for my 8 year-old son or my 5 year-old daughter thus it wasn't very interesting for me. The best part was near the west end it turned into a narrow dirt path. It was cooler and more interesting. However by that point we had reached Johnny O's Deli and it was time to turn around. I think the next time we will start at Johnny O's Deli and head west on the narrow dirt path.
