A rugged multi-state hike. This trip actually crosses the state line into Connecticut’s Pachaug State Forest, combining lakeside paths with steep climbs, gravel roads, and woodland footpaths for a fairly strenuous excursion. The Tippecansett is the longest trail in the Arcadia system, stretching 9.6 miles end to end. This loop is somewhat shorter and provides a great variety of terrain.
