Ninigret Pond Professional Review and Guide
"Ninigret, Rhode Island’s largest coastal pond, offers great
opportunities for plant and wildlife viewing. Nineteen rare or
endangered plant species inhabit the pond’s shores and the Ninigret
National Wildlife Refuge, and more than 250 bird species have been
recorded here. We don’t recommend this pond for novice paddlers
because of tides, wind-driven waves, and boat traffic."
