Rocky Ridge County Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This hike follows several of the park trails along the south perimeter of the park before visiting the north overlook and returning to the car.
Located on a ridgetop just a few miles northeast of York, the 750-acre Rocky Ridge County Park is a popular location for local bird-watchers. During the spring, it is visited by a variety of warblers, including black and white warblers, ovenbirds, chestnut-sided warblers, redstarts, blue warblers, yellow throats, and green warblers. In both the fall and spring, the two park overlooks provide excellent vantage points from which to view the seasonal hawk migrations."
