Frances Slocum State Park Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This is a lot of campsites crammed into a small space, so expect neighbors—lots of them. There’s also an organized group tenting area. Horseshoe-shaped Frances Slocum Lake is the main attraction here. The 165-acre lake is open to canoes, kayaks, and motorboats with electric motors, and you can bring your own or rent one here.
Away from the water, mountain bikers have 4 miles of red- blazed trails of varying difficulty in the western edge of the park; hikers have 13 miles of trails. The 3.2-mile Deer Trail, which starts at the nature center and winds through a variety of habitats, is a popular one."
