Ricketts Glen State Park

Ricketts Glen State Park Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"If there are a handful of must- see parks in Pennsylvania, Ricketts Glen is one of them. And the park is famous for one thing above all else: its waterfalls. The park’s Glens Natural Area, a National Natural Landmark, is home to twenty- two named waterfalls ranging in height from 11 to 94 feet. All are spectacular. Quite simply, this is a gorgeous place to do some hiking. It’s not easy, though.

Once you’ve seen the falls, spend some time exploring the rest of the park. The 245-acre Lake Jean is fun to paddle, and it has a swimming beach that lets you cool off after hiking to see the falls."
