Harveys Lake is the largest natural lake within Pennsylvania's borders, and it provides a totally flat 8.3-mile ride. If you like hills, you can go away from the lake in any direction and know that you'll do some good climbing, but if you like flat and scenic rides, you can do loops around the lake. Harveys Lake is also the name of the town around the lake and the region has the relaxed atmosphere of a resort. Ringing the lake are many large and beautiful homes, and the lake itself is a favorite recreational spot. Boats are plentiful, and bikers and runners enjoy the flat road around the lake, especially on weekends. This is one ride that's probably better on weekdays, because the traffic is much lighter then. The road surface is good.
