Appalachian National Scenic Trail

Appalachian National Scenic Trail is a hiking trail in Port Clinton, Pennsylvania. It is within Weiser State Forest, State Game Land 80, State Game Land 110, and State Game Land No. 106. It is 30.3 miles long and begins at 1,444 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 46.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 6,709 feet. The Appalachian Trail Parking is near the trailhead. The Hertein Campsite camp site, the Pocahontas Spring spring, and the Hamburg Reservoir (elevation 709 feet) reservoir can be seen along the trail. There are also viewpoints, parking, and a pipeline along the trail. This trail connects with the following: State Game Land Road, Blue Blazed, Schuylkill River Trail, Pulpit Rock Trail, Appalachian Trail and Pinnacle Side Trail.
