Mingo Creek County Park Loop Trail Professional Review and Guide
"For a short 1.4-mile walk, follow the paved path to the Ebenezer Covered Bridge and turn around for an out-and-back. The remainder of the hike is hilly and can be muddy, but it’s a good workout with pretty views. From the parking area, walk across the road to the beginning of the paved path, passing a picnic bench. The path veers left, paralleling Mingo Creek. You may be as fortunate as we were and see a great blue heron flying above it.
There are many picnic tables, grills, fountains, pumps, and restrooms along the paved pathway. Cross Park Road at 0.26 miles, walk through a large picnic area, and pass the trail turning right toward a bridge over the creek at 0.42 miles. Through this area see conifer trees, berry bushes, wildflowers, and deciduous trees such as red maple, black cherry, crab apple, and oaks."
