Buckaloons Recreation Area

Buckaloons Recreation Area Professional Guide

Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook

"This campground offers two double sites as well as an organized group tenting area. Drivers should be aware of low branches and power lines, especially at parking aprons.

Situated where Brokenstraw Creek and Irvine Run empty into the Allegheny River, this campground is surrounded by lots of wildlife that often can be seen by walking the Seneca Interpretive Trail, with its abundance of apple trees. What really draws people to this campground though is that it’s a wonderful launch spot for some paddling."
