Tobyhanna State Park Professional Review and Guide
"This campground, located at an elevation of about 2,000 feet, which is fairly high for Pennsylvania, is shaped sort of like a V, with the right arm being the pet area and closer to Tobyhanna Lake. There’s also an organized group tenting area.
If you like to challenge yourself while hiking, this is the place. The park doesn’t have a ton of trails—there are 10 miles all told—but at least half of what it does have is of the very rugged variety. The scenery can be worth it though.
Make some time to fish or float 170-acre Tobyhanna Lake. This quiet, electric- motor-only lake has its share of brook trout, bass, pickerel, and yellow perch."
