Tionesta Lake Recreation Area Professional Guide
Detailed Trail Description from our Guidebook
"This campground was recently renovated and is by far the largest and most modern of those at Tionesta. The sites are densely congregated, so you won’t find much in the way of privacy. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.
Tionesta Lake, which covers 480 acres at normal summer pool, is the main draw. A large body of water in a remote, mountainous setting, it’s great for boating and fishing. A public beach is located just downstream of the campground, and there are a couple of hiking trails worth exploring: the Mill Race Trail, which connects the ends of the campground, and the Dam Site Trail."
