Rattling Run Trail Professional Reviews and Guides

"This beautiful hike follows the Horse-Shoe Trail from the parking area at the gate on Ellendale Road up to the abandoned town site of Rattling Run. Most of the walk is along the old railroad grade in the bottom of the Stony Creek Valley.

Although popular with cyclists on weekends, the trail is wide and long and encounters with other hikers tend to be infrequent. This out-and-back hike can be as long or as short as you like."
