    Tuscarora Trail

    Tuscarora Trail is a hiking trail in Perry County, Cumberland County, and Franklin County, Pennsylvania. It is within Tuscarora State Forest, State Game Land 170, State Game Land 230, and Colonel Denning State Park. It is 45.6 miles long and begins at 941 feet altitude. Traveling the entire trail is 30.9 miles with a total elevation gain of 7,110 feet. Fenton Knob (elevation 2,178 feet), Sherman Mountain (elevation 2,123 feet), Rising Mountain (elevation 2,172 feet), and Flat Rock (elevation 1,896 feet), the PATC WagonWheel Shelter shelter, the Flat Rock viewpoint, and the Shermans Tower (elevation 2,192 feet) tower can be seen along the trail. There is also a spring along the trail. This trail connects with the following: Bill Miller Trail, North Fork Trail, Couch Trail, Woodburn Trail, Fowler Hollow Trail, Flat Rock Trail, Lehman Trail, Warner Trail, Darlington Trail and Appalachian National Scenic Trail.
